How Wyz Global collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data

Information You Provide Directly

  • Account information: Name, email address, username, and password when you register
  • Profile information: Profile photo, bio, business name, and other optional profile fields
  • Payment information: Billing details processed securely through Stripe and our other payment processors (we do not store full card numbers)
  • Project information: Briefs, business information, and content assets you share with us for WyzPro or eLearning Development Services
  • AI interaction data: Queries, prompts, and inputs you submit to WyzAI
  • Communications: Messages, support inquiries, and feedback you send us
  • Content: Courses, files, and materials you upload or create on our platforms

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: Pages visited, features used, time spent, clicks, and navigation patterns
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, device identifiers, and IP address
  • Log data: Server logs including access times, error logs, and referring URLs
  • Cookies and similar technologies: See Section 9 for details

  • Authentication data from social login providers (if used)
  • Payment and identity verification data from payment processors

  • Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the services you signed up for
  • Legitimate interests: Fraud prevention, platform security, and service improvement, where our interests do not override your rights
  • Legal obligation: Processing required to comply with applicable laws
  • Consent: Where we rely on your consent (e.g., marketing), you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing

5. Third-Party Service Processors

We share personal data with trusted third-party service providers who assist us in operating our platforms. All processors are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for specified purposes.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers.

6. International Data Transfers

Wyz Global operates internationally with data processed in the United States and the Philippines. If you are located in the EU/EEA or other jurisdictions with data transfer restrictions, your data may be transferred to countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where such transfers occur, we ensure appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), data processing agreements with all processors, and technical and organizational security measures. For Philippine users, processing complies with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173).

7. Data Retention

  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your account and up to 3 years after account deletion, unless a longer period is required by law
  • Transaction and refund records: Retained for a minimum of 7 years for financial and legal compliance
  • Support communications: Retained for 2 years from last interaction
  • Analytics data: Retained in aggregated, anonymized form indefinitely

When data is no longer required, we securely delete or anonymize it.

8. Your Privacy Rights

  • Right to Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations
  • Right to Restrict Processing: Request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances

  • Right to Object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing
  • Right to Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • Right to Lodge a Complaint: Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

  • Essential cookies: Required for platform operation, authentication, and security. Cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies: Remember your preferences and settings.
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand how users interact with our platforms.
  • Marketing cookies: Used only where you have given explicit consent.

You can control non-essential cookies through your browser settings or any cookie consent tool on our platforms. Disabling certain cookies may affect functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EU/EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below these ages. 11. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data, including encryption of data in transit (SSL/TLS), encryption of sensitive data at rest, access controls, and regular security monitoring. Despite our best efforts, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data breach likely to result in a risk to your rights, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy with a new effective date, and for significant changes may also notify you by email or platform notice.
